Steer Athletes Compete Down South Longhorn mound ace Bart Hooton lost his chance for a second shutout in the World Amateur Baseball Championships when knocked out of the box in the ninth innings of a game with Canada Tuesday night. The U.S. team went on to win 4-3 in the tourney being played in Cartagena, Colombia. In Hooton's first starting assignment, the junior fireballer recorded a 14-8 shutout in going the distance.
