Granger Causality between Economic Output, Population, and Health Spending in Korea
2015
unpublished
This study aims to examine whether the social system for health care in Korea is adequate for a rapidly ageing society by analyzing the magnitude of health spending. The study employs Granger causality tests. Empirical evidence reveals that the Korean health care system is simplistically reflecting its ageing society rather than anticipating it and establishing suitably up-to-date systems.
