ÖZ The extraction of nickel from a mixed nickel-cobalt hydroxide precipitate (MHP) was conceived and experimentally explored. The effect of sulphuric acid concentration, leaching time, leaching temperature and stirring speed on nickel extraction was investigated. After 60 min leaching time, more than 90% of nickel and approximately 80% of cobalt were taken into the leach solution under the following conditions: 0.75M sulphuric acid concentration, 30°C leaching temperature and 400 rpm stirring
