PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS SCIENTIFIC APPROACH TERINTEGRASI NILAI KARAKTER

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran berbasis scientifi c approach terintegrasi dengan nilai karakter untuk siswa sekolah dasar di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research & Developmet (R&D) yang mengadopsi dari model pengembangan versi Borg dan Gall. more » ... gket, observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi, yang didukung Focus Group Discussion (FGD) serta buku catatan lapangan/logbook. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan, diketahui bahwa model implementasi pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar terutama Kelas 1 belum terlaksana dengan efektif; (2) hasil FGD mengindikasikan bahwa pengintegrasian pendidikan karakter ke dalam mata pelajaran (bidang studi) signifi kan untuk dilakukan; dan (3) dihasilkannya prototipe multimedia pembelajaran berbasis scientifi c approach terintegrasi dengan nilai karakter untuk siswa sekolah dasar dan tervalidasinya multimedia oleh ahli media dan materi. Kata kunci: multimedia pembelajaran, nilai karakter, sekolah dasar DEVELOPING SCIENTIFIC APPROACH BASED LEARNING MULTIMEDIA INTEGRATED WITH CHARACTER VALUES Abstract This study was aimed at developing scientifi c approach based learning multimedia integrated with character values for elementary students in Yogyakarta. This study used Research and Development (R&D) method that is adopting from Borg and Gall version. The subjects consisted of the fi rst grade teachers and students in elementary schools of Yogyakarta. The data were collected using questionnaire, observation, and documentation supported by the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and logbook. The data were in the form of quantitative and qualitative description. The results show that: (1) based on the preliminary research, it can be found that character education in elementary school grade I has not been implemented effectively; (2) the FGD results indicate that integrating character education into subjects (fi eld of study) is signifi cant to do; and (3) the fi nal product of this study is a prototype of learning multimedia for elementary students which is validated by the media and material experts.
