The main aim of our participation in the cross-language track this year was to try different combinations of various individual cross-language information retrieval (CLIR) approaches. We reused the same corpus-based methods that we utilized last year with considerable success, while experimenting with using a number of off-the-shelf machine translation products. We also revisited our merging approach, trying out an alternative strategy
