Abstrac し Reflex bleeding is characteristic for a number of inseot spe じ ies such as Iadybeetles and leaf beetles . In thls study , we assessed the utility of re 刊ex bleeding as a noninvasive sQurce for DNA analysis . By using the method based on the nucleotide − acid binding property of silica particles , we were able to extract DNA from the re 伺ex bleeding exuded by some ladybeetles .
