more » ... the study was 60 children from the normal and 60 speech and speech disorders and their mothers, distributed equally between males and females on four groups. The researcher used the Arab standard for positive thinking and the data form Priority over the mothers sample and the self-measure on children. The results indicated a statistically significant correlation between positive or negative mother's thinking and self-esteem among her children in all members of the sample, even if the female groups most affected by the mother's thinking had significant differences. A statistic in self-esteem between the group of the normal and the disordered was also the female groups most affected by the disorder on the scale of self-esteem either in the total degree or in the four areas of self-esteem, and the results indicated that there are no statistically significant differences between males and females in general in the self-esteem variable For the research sample, the male group was higher than the female.
