Komunikator, pesan, media dan efek dalam analisis komunikasi politik memainkan peran penting karena setiap unit-unit tersebut dapat menumbuhkan kepercayaan akan "kebenaran" ideologi kelompok radikalis. Sasaran untuk menciptakan kepercayaan pada pembaca dapat diamati dengan mengkaji atau membandingkan kinerja pemerintah dan sistem demokrasi sesuai dengan ajaran islam.
