A new subdwarf O star : LS 630

The star LS 630 has a typical O subdwarf spectrum with stark-broadened lines of neutral and ionized helium and a very prominent ultraviolet continuum. Although it is faint for detailed astrophysical studies, its low galactic latitude and reddening indicate an absolute magnitude equal to M v = + 5.3 ± 2.
