In Romania, corn culture comes second in terms of the cultivated area, being spread all over the country, as we are the country with the largest area cultivated with corn in Europe. The article carried out an assessment of the areas cultivated with consumption corn and of the productions obtained, the productions obtained in the last 10 years and the distribution thereof by regions, as well as of the factors that generated this zoning.
