Adolescent sexuality and reproductive health are important in order to combat increase in risky sexual activities and cases of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). It has been observed that adolescents in secondary schools engaged in risky sexual behaviours which are pre-marital sex, multiple sex partners, transactional sex, teenage pregnancy, abortion and sex under influence of alcohol and hard drugs.
