ARTICLE INFO ABSTRACT Article history: This paper proposes a method to predict chatter vibration generated in milling processes and to enhance machining quality and surface finish. Chatter vibration is a common problem in the milling of thin walls and floors. It causes a poor surface finish, or even marks, to appear on the final machined surface.
