The study demonstrates that culture-specific terms are still translatable in spite of the problems and challenges related to them. It mainly investigates the translation of culture-specific terms from Arabic into English in some Prophetic Hadiths in the book of The Translation of the Meanings of Al-Bukhari (1997) by Muhammed M. ... d from Newmark's model (1988) to explore the procedures utilized by the translator to convey the culturespecific terms. Furthermore, it examines its comprehensiveness and applicability to translate culture-specific terms in Hadiths. The findings show that the strategy of combining foreignization and domestication together, which is exemplified by the procedure of couplet or triplet, is the most adopted strategy according to the used procedures. This strategy is faithful to the SL and respects the TL and meets the expectations of the target readers.
