Sampled-data output feedback control of a class of nonlinear systems

In this paper, we study the problem of sampleddata output feedback for a class of nonlinear systems. The main contributions of this work are twofold: (i) we develop a systematic design procedure for the sampled-data observer and the observer-based sampled-data controller by combining the backstepping method and two kinds of discretization approaches; (ii) we provide a theoretical analysis of the sampleddata closed-loop system, which shows that the sampled-data observer error and the state of
