Objective: To provide a further example showing a successful use of an advanced mathematical modeling method based on the theory of dynamic systems in pharmacokinetics. Method: The use of the method considered here was exemplified by modeling the formation of 7-hydroxymethotrexate (7OH-MTX) from methotrexate (MTX) in patients undergoing treatment for psoriasis with MTX.
