The complexity of Embedded Systems (ESs) is greatly increased due to their hyper-connectivity. Nowadays resources and data are shared among ESs to create new systems, services and applications. The design of a dynamically composable ES has several pitfalls such as security, safety and privacy that are not easy to handle due to the shortage of tools and standard design methodologies.
