The global economy relies heavily on the offshore petroleum industry. Many nation-states regard offshore petroleum installations to be important national infrastructure, and their security could have substantial ramifications for national security and economic well-being. The study technique necessitates the gathering of data, which in this case was gathered from the industry. Surveys, visits, interviews, and questionnaires are among the data sources used to gather the information needed to test the model and conduct preliminary validation studies on offshore platform risk assessment in order to draw some conclusions.
