The mean values of psychic impairment, which were evaluated by SCL-90-R, lie within the normal range. Just a few scales enter the upper limit range. Depression symptoms were evaluated by BDI and were located in the lower range of a slight depression. During the therapy which regards an integrated and cross-method therapy approach symptoms were reduced by a huge statistical eff ect. Psychic symptoms decreased close to a value of 50 % -Percentile, which is equivalent to the reference group. At the end of the rehabilitation patients estimate their capability to manage stress constructively (SVF), their capability to remain abstinent in critical situations (DTCQA) and their social competence (UFB) higher than at the beginning. Conclusion: This evaluation of an alcohol rehabilitation shows successful eff ects in the improvement of the psychic condition and in the reduction of psychosomatic complaints. Krohn L et al.
