... eration of information about all business processes, including supply chain management and other logistic processes. In this context, this work paper conducts a case study in a telecommunications company, describing a suggested solution for its assets management, with the RFID technology implementation. The proposed solution promotes adjustments in business processes, cultural transformations and the integration of information and systems. The study also identifies the critical factors and the steps in the deployment process of the solution, solves problems with the physical identification of assets and generates consistent information to meet legal requirements set by the regulatory agency.
