more » ... research to develop the tests that allow determining the temperature, the pressure distribution, the rolling speed and the sliding speed, which ensure a non-fluid lubrication regime (mixed, limit), in addition to the hardness and surface finish; influence the value of the coefficient of friction as well as the lubrication regime, results presented by the Dowson -Higginson equation for linear contact, the thickness of the lubricating film is determined and considering the values of the radius of asperities of the specimens, it is established that the set of tests was carried out in a Mixed-EHD regime in the low hardness specimens and in the higher hardness specimens in a Mixed regime.
