The aim of the paper is the research on the nondestructive detection of Japanese abandoned chemical weapons (JACWs) in the water. Distribution and characteristics of JACWs in the lakes and rivers in China, the task, the equipment and technical requirements of the JACWs nondestructive detection in the water are presented.
