I INTRODUCTION Many attempts to tally and report receords of sports contests or games with computers have been coducted already (Asami et al., 1978 (Asami et al., , 1979)) . Speed is commonly expected in any operation. However, depending on the purpose, there are two possible cases. One is the system for the official reports ; the other is for game analysis, which is utilized in coaching (Taimura, 1983 ; Tamaki, 1986) . The former requires accuracy in addition to speed. more » ... us analyses of many items. Therefore the result may only be tallied according to the next game. In the case of academic subjects, the limitation of time is yet another factor. However, the former model has a strict time limitation. In the case of a prompt report, it is yet stricter. The attempts themselves to record of sports contests or games and quickly tally and report with computers have frequently conducted in sports, whose records can be documented as interval or ratio scales.
