This paper focuses on the algorithm theory of the two-dimensional wavelet transform which is used for image edge detection. To simplify the algorithm, the author propounds to turn the two-dimensional dyadic wavelet to onedimensional dyadic wavelet that can be divided into product. We can use the filter to achieve the wavelet multiplescale edge detection quickly.
