Vortex shidding from a circular cylinder and its controle by a splitter plate Hiromasa KAWAI* Vortex dynamics behind a circular cylinder with a splitter plate in the wake was investigated by the discrete vortex model. The splitter plate was modeled by a series of source which could cancel out the flow across the sources.
