The Financial Performance of Enterprises under Present Conditions

The topicality of the financial performance of enterprises research is predefined above all by the consequences of world financial crisis on the economy of the country on the whole and the rates of efficiency of enterprises activity in particular, which entailed a swift growth of the number of bankrupt enterprises in Ukraine. more » ... the analytical estimation of the number of bankrupt enterprises and general results of the enterprises activity most fully represent the present economic situation in the country.Also the problem of growing number of bankrupt enterprises was examined and basic factors which stipulated this growth were analysed. The estimation of main rates of the country's economic development conditions and tendencies was conducted within the period of crisis.The use of expert estimations, mathematical and statistical methods, analytical methods, enabled the author to define the dynamics of the rates of the financial condition of enterprises of all industries of economy and define the factors which stipulated a certain movement of the analysed rates, their decline in 2008 in particular. The more detailed analysis of the number of bankrupt enterprises was conducted in Sumskaya oblast, the basic factors which stipulated their bankruptcy were defined and also recommendations were given in relation to the increase of their reorganizational potential. Among the basic ones we may name such: weaken the attachment to the export orientation of economy, improvement of credit activity of banks, development of systematic anticrisis reforms.
