Tourism is expected to vitalize the declined region's economy and to create the region's brand, but it sometimes causes the problems such as the pollution and the disruption of natural resources. This study aims to clarify the treating process of the problems caused by the tourism boom through case studies and to suggest the process for sustainable development of tourism areas based on analysis on the solution measures in each of the cases.
