Quantitative methods experience an upswing in literary studies due to the possibilities of digitalization and the ongoing innovations and refinements in digital humanities. The following article deals with these quantitative approaches to text handling from a praxeological perspective. It aims at locating quantitative research within the interpretative praxis of digital humanities.
