Clinical and radiological results of the surgical treatment of twenty-two patients with obsolete congenital dislocation of the hip were reviewed. These 22 patients, one male and 21 females, were operated on by three different surgical methods. 4 patients were treated by the open reduction and the shelf operation. (Jinnaka's method) : Group A. 6 patients were treated by the shelf operation.
