The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating role of symptoms of stress on the relationship between perceived access to training and job satisfaction. The changing nature of work (i.e. workplace and job complexity) has implications for stress and job satisfaction outcomes. Concerns about stress and job satisfaction levels and their link to performance have created interest in training interventions to improve the adequacy of knowledge and skills.
