The loss caused by a large typhoon may exceed the annual incremcnt of forest biomass ten − ・ fold or more , Further problems in the study of d重 st ロ rbance a皿 d forest regeneration are discuss − ed , with special emphasis given to the necessity for continuous study over a large area .
