Abstract: This review can focus on the comparison of different types of batteries, DC-DC converter, and motors used in electric vehicles. Electric vehicle is very popular and the usage of electric vehicles is increasing rapidly because of solving the issues like air pollution and fuel consumption. In EVs design and manufacture, Electrical Engineers concentrate three major areas such as Batteries, Converter and Motors. Battery for energy storage, DC-DC converter for charging the battery and provides DC link between the battery and inverter. Motor provides transmission for the vehicle movement.
