Naturally reductive metrics of nonpositive Ricci curvature

The main theorem states that every naturally reductive homogeneous Riemannian manifold of nonpositive Ricci curvature is symmetric. As a corollary, every noncompact naturally reductive Einstein manifold is symmetric.
