Field scaling and exponential temperature dependence of the magnetoresistance in(TMTSF)2PF6
1999
Physical Review B (Condensed Matter)
The magnetoresistance of the quasi-one-dimensional organic conductor (TMTSF) 2 PF 6 is studied under a hydrostatic pressure of about 0.8 GPa in magnetic fields up to 12 T perpendicular to the conducting a-b planes in the temperature range of 5 to 35 K. Both in the best conducting a and second best conducting b directions, the magnetoresistance follows a power law ⌬R/Rϭ(B/B 0 ) 3/2 . The a-b plane anisotropy is field independent. The scaling field B 0 follows an exponential temperature
