Understanding how teachers are leveraging entertainment media for educational purposes is imperative in this age with near ubiquitous presence of digital games. In this qualitative study that considered videos posted to YouTube, we report how the digital game Angry Birds® has been implemented in a variety of settings in mathematics education. In particular we describe certain aspects the research team deemed effective and ineffective. Findings suggest that incorporation of this digital game
