Healthcare personnel are working in the higher-risk department as they are in primary contact with Covid-19 patients. In the Philippines, 2,315 Filipino healthcare workers have been infected by the corona virus as of May 2020, with death toll at 35 (DOH, 2020). A qualitative study using empirical phenomenological approach was used to examine the lived experiences of healthcare frontliners.
