Microcanonical simulation of nuclear multifragmentation
1987
Nuclear Physics A
We discuss the formal basi.5 for the theoretical treatment of nuclear ; lltifragmentation within a microcanonical framework. The important role played by highly excited nuclear states and the interfragment forces is illustrated. The requirement of detailed balance is especially discussed and illustrated for the fission-fusion \i-?tropolis moves in configuration space.
