The present review article is an effort to compile the phytochemical and scientific reports of the genus Morina. Morina species like Morina chinensis (Batalin ex Diels) Pai., is used for arthritis and stomach trouble and Tibetan medicine from ancient. Morina longifolia Wall, its stem leaves and flowers are used in Tibetan medicine, they are said to have a sweet and astringent taste with a heating potency.
