As well as political and economic ones, such as rising prices and low standard of living. Including also family reasons. The danger of Intellectual Extremism represented in it's ability to destroy the intellectual constants of individuals , threating security and stability of society, and depleting the wealth and energies of it. The issue of intellectual extremism has preoccupied the international community, the Arab world, psychologist, Educators, and Religious Scholars in order to identify its reasons to prevent and avoid its dangers. The researcher will discuss the concept of Intellectual Extremism, its causes, effects, and study the intellectual extremism to general secondary school's students, and the role of general secondary school in the face of this phenomenon.
