The Chairman informed the meeting that the Rules of Procedure presented in document AC18 Doc. 2 were adopted at the 17th meeting of the Animals Committee (AC17) in Hanoi, Vietnam (30 July-3 August 2001). Upon the request from an observer Party to add in the summary records a list of all those participants that had made interventions on particular agenda items, the Secretariat explained that the summary record was intended to present the outcome of the discussions in the meeting as quickly as
