Investigation of Empowerment of Rural Women in Environmental Protection

The aim of this study was to evaluate the potential of rural women in protecting the environment. Statistical population of women 60-12 years old Marzanabad village in Mazandaran province, 75 945 people. Methods: Of 165 randomly selected regularly from the village of Marzan-Abad province. The social, economic and cultural environment to promote women effectively. 2. Recognition of Women Consciousness in the environment is associated with the management .3-women's empowerment leads to environmental protection. 4. Learning Environment women leads to behavior change in consumption pattern. Findings and Results: The positive relationship between the social, economic and cultural rights of women, recognizing the environmental awareness of women, the empowerment of women in environmental protection, and the role of women in environmental management has shown.
