Las funciones del lenguaje dentro de estos paráme tros obliga a repensar la implicación teórica de lo que se quiere decir, lo que se dice y la acción de habla, para sintetizarlos en el esquema pre dicativo (EP): alguien entenderse con alguien sobre algo a través del lenguaje. Esta predica ción es el germen de un modelo comunicacio-nal lingüístico y la motivación para revisar conceptos como acción comunicativa, semán tica intencional, componente sintáctico, se mántico, pragmático, para comprender la im portancia de la competencia lingüística y la competencia comunicativa en el modelo co-municacional lingüístico que sirve de funda mento teórico a la gramática comunicativa. ABSTRACT Under the title of Pragmatics and Communicative Grammar we present in this article fundamental aspects of language in an attempt to outline certain postulates for a communicative grammar, considered within the dynamics of language, as an idiomatic function and a communicative system. Along the same lines we insinúate certain important aspects for study, such as language and its communicative and cognitive function, language as a médium for understanding, and as such, the relationship between the communicative act, the theory of significance, and usage. The functions of language within these parameters obliges us to reconsider the theoretical implications of what one wants to say, of what is said, and the action of speaking, in order to synthesize them all in the predicative model (EP): someoneunderstands someone about something through language. This prediction is the embryo for a linguistic communicative model and the motivation in reviewing concepts such as communicative action, intentional semantics, syntactic components, semantics, and pragmatics, in order to understand the importance of linguistic competence and communicative competence in the linguistic communicative model which forms the fundamental theory of communicative grammar.
