Contents of citric acid, calcium and phosphorus were studied in the serum and bones (maxillary alveolar, mandibular alveolar and femoral bones) of alloxan diabetic rats at 5, 10 and 15 weeks after injection of alloxan. Citric acid was measured by the method of Honi et al, calcium by atomic absorption spectroscopy, and phosphorus by the method of Lowry et al. The following results were obtained:
