Bilateral Occipital Lobe Infarction Presenting as Bilateral Inferior Altitudinal Defects

Purpose: Horizontal visual field defects are generally caused by lesions before the optic chiasm, but we report a case with bilateral inferior altitudinal defects secondary to bilateral occipital lobe infarction. Case summary: A 57-year-old male with a history of diabetes and hypertension presented with a month of blurring in the inferior visual field.
