We have proposed reverse-mode polymer dispersed liquid crystal (R-PDLC) with 270° super twisted nematic (STN) orientation. A high transparent state can be obtained in the STN R-PDLC cell without the voltage application because of the both ordinary and extraordinary refractive index matching between UV curable LC matrix and nematic LC. The unpolarized incident light in the STN R-PDLC is scattered stronger than in the homogeneous and 90° TN cell R-PDLC cells when the voltage is applied. The high
