Meralgia paresthetica is an entrapment neuropathy of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, clinically characterized by burning, stinging and tingling sensation of the outer side of the thigh. We have studied SNAP (sensory nerve action potential) of 6 patients (three females, three males). The ages of these patients ranged from 16 to 65 years old (averaging 36.5 years). These patients had tenderness or Tinel sign at the Inguinal Ligament. We stimulated the nerve at the proximal and distal sides
