Pharmacological and spectral studies of synthetic biomimetic copper complexes derived from 3-hydroxyflavone derivatives as anti-inflammatory agents

Novel biomimetic ligands were synthesized by the condensation of 3-hydroxyflavone, 2-aminophenol(L 1 )/2-aminobenzoic acid (L 2 ) and-aminothiazole (L 3 ). Their Cu(II) complexes have also been synthesized and characterized on the basis of 1 H NMR, IR, UV-Vis spectra, elemental analyses, molar conductivity, ESR, electrochemical behaviour and thermal analyses.
