In the previous paper, the author reported on a theoretical study of the effect of side-wall interference which has deleterious influences upon the results of experiments in regular head waves. In this paper, the author reports experimental studies which were carried out to verify the appropriateness of the theoretical study. Model experiments were carried out in two towing tanks of different sizes. One of them was a narrow tank (BT/L = 1.5), and the other a wide one (BT/L = 3.9).
