In this paper, we have solved the electrochemical machining problem (ECM) by using the collocation method based on Bernstein polynomials. This paper is divided into three parts, in the first part we introduce a simple overview about the two-dimensional ECM problem (in polar coordinate system), while in the second part we consider the Bernstein polynomials (including its definition and properties). Finally, the third part consists of evaluating the approximate solution of the mathematical modeling related to the ECM problem.
