Climate extremes particularly severe flood and drought heavily damage rural farmland and community livelihoods. Most farmers find difficulty in coping with those unusual climate impacts as well as long-term adaptation. This case study reflects a Thai rural farmer family who transformed their agriculture practice from cash crop to integrated organic farming, which could successfully sustain their livelihood and well-being.
