Hematological malignancies arise from bone marrow derived cells. They can be broadly classified as those of myeloid cell lines, neoplasm of lymphoid cell lines, lymphoproliferative disorders and Histolytic/Dendritic cell neoplasm. Hematological malignancies presenting with intestinal obstruction are rare. Only a few cases have been reported worldwide.
